One of the most rewarding parts of our work is helping clients reimagine jewellery that has been treasured for years. Recently, we had the pleasure of creating a bespoke remodelling commission for a client who came to us with a traditional three-stone diamond and sapphire ring. She wanted something more contemporary—sparkling, sculptural, and entirely her own—while saving the sapphire for another special commission in the future.

We began by selecting two of her original diamonds to carry forward, and then introduced two larger lab-grown diamonds. Combining her mined diamonds with lab-grown stones allowed us to honour the sentimental value of her original gems while adding a more environmentally friendly touch.

The new design, crafted in 9ct white gold, sparkles brilliantly from every angle. The diamonds are set in elegant rubbed-over settings—no claws, just smooth, secure settings that showcase the stones beautifully. The staggered arrangement isn’t just visually striking from above; side-on, it reveals a sculptural, architectural quality that transforms the ring into a piece of wearable art.

This commission is a perfect example of how remodelling can give treasured jewellery a fresh, modern life—while keeping the memories and meaning intact. By blending her existing diamonds with lab-grown stones, we’ve created a ring that’s ethical, stunning, and deeply personal.
Every piece we remake is a collaboration, a chance to take what our clients love and transform it into something uniquely theirs. And in this case, a traditional three-stone ring became a contemporary statement full of sparkle, story, and heart.
If you have a piece of old jewellery that you would like made into a new design, take a look at some of our past remodelling commissions and get in touch to discuss how to turn your unworn jewellery into something you love again.
