The Experience (4–16 Weeks)
We begin with your story. Some engagement ring commissions take 4 weeks while others need more time. We are committed to creating the perfect ring for you, within your timescale and budget.
Tactile Approval
Each commission is unique. Some have hand sketches, others 3D CAD drawings. We can provide physical wax or silver samples, allowing you total control over the design process before your engagement ring is made in gold or platinum.
The Stone
We source or custom-cut gemstones in any size, ensuring the heart of your ring is as unique as the narrative behind it.

The Sagrada Ring
When Chloe Googles "Sagrada ring", she doesn't just find a product name—she finds her engagement ring. The only one of its kind in the world.
Calum commissioned this design as a tribute to their favourite place. On their wedding day, Chloe surprised him with matching cufflinks, completing the circle. During their honeymoon in Barcelona, they returned to the very staircase that inspired the design to film their jewellery in its birthplace.

What is the starting price for a custom ring?
Our bespoke commissions start from £2,000, reflecting the hand-crafted nature and high-quality materials used in every piece.
Can I see the ring before it is finished?
Yes. You are involved in every milestone—from approving sketches and CADs to seeing the physical samples and inspecting your chosen gemstones before they are set.
I love the idea of a bespoke ring, but I have no idea where to start. Do I need a finished design first?
Not at all! Most of our favourite pieces started as just a simple conversation. You don’t need to be an artist or have a technical drawing ready; that’s what we’re here for.
We’ll guide you through different ideas and help you discover what resonates with you. It often helps to think about a "spark"—a special place you’ve visited together, a shared memory, or a unique connection that makes your relationship special. We will take those personal stories and translate them into a beautiful, wearable design, checking in with you at every step to make sure the ideas feel exactly right.
Can I use heirlooms or sentimental gold in my new design?
Yes, we love incorporating history into new stories. We can often remodel your existing jewellery by unsetting sentimental gemstones and using them in your new design. While we don’t typically melt down old gold (to ensure the highest quality and durability for your new piece), we can return your original metal or credit its value toward your commission.
I’m planning a surprise proposal—how do I find out their ring size?
Don't worry, this is a common challenge! If you can "borrow" one of their existing rings for a day, we can measure it for you. If that’s not possible, we can guide you on how to estimate a size, and we offer a free resizing service after the proposal to ensure the fit is perfect.
Will my bespoke ring be ethically sourced?
Absolutely. Whether you choose a lab-grown diamond for its traceable origins or a responsibly mined natural stone, we source every gemstone directly to ensure excellent quality and conflict-free status. Your story should feel good from every angle, including how the materials were found.
Does my bespoke ring come with a guarantee?
Yes. Every piece of Christine Sadler jewellery comes with a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing faults. We also offer free annual "check-ups" to ensure your settings are secure and your ring stays as beautiful as the day you proposed.
