Welcome to Christine Sadler Unforgettable Jewellery. These terms and conditions outline the agreement between you (the customer) and us (Unforgettable Jewellery Limited) when you purchase from our collections, website, or studio.
1. Our Agreement with You
Order Acceptance: When you place an order online, we will send you an initial acknowledgement email. Your order is officially accepted, and a legally binding contract is formed, only when we take payment, send you a formal "Order Accepted" or "Dispatched" email, or when the goods are delivered to you.
Pricing Updates: We always endeavor to ensure our pricing is exact. In rare instances where an accidental error occurs in a quote or on our website, we reserve the right to correct the error and update the price before accepting your order. You will have the opportunity to cancel your order at this point.
2. Handcrafted Timelines & Delivery
Delivery Estimates: In-stock items will be delivered within the advertised timescale. For items that are not in stock, delivery dates are provided as estimates in good faith. We always work hard to meet these timelines.
Complimentary Shipping: We are pleased to offer complimentary Royal Mail Special Delivery on all orders within the United Kingdom.
International Orders: For orders shipped outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, regional taxes, or local clearance fees levied by the destination country are the responsibility of the customer.
3. Payment & Precious Material Pricing
Payment Terms: Payment is due in full at the time you place your order, unless a bespoke arrangement has been confirmed in writing.
Made-to-Order & Bespoke Pricing: Our Made-to-Order and custom items are officially accepted once we verify gemstone availability. Due to variations in raw precious material markets, if global supply costs change drastically before your order is confirmed, we reserve the right to cancel the request and will immediately release any payment holds.
4. Secure Delivery & Inspection
Transit Risk: We accept full responsibility for your jewellery while it is in transit. Risk only passes to you once the package is securely delivered to your address or collected from our studio.
Upon Arrival: We kindly ask that you inspect your jewellery upon delivery. In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please notify us in writing within three working days so we can swiftly arrange a repair or replacement. To help us resolve the issue, please do not wear or modify the piece before we have an opportunity to inspect it.
5. Cancellations, Returns & Exemptions
Cancellations: If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, please contact us immediately in writing. Standard collections can be cancelled or returned within 30 days in line with our separate Cancellations & Returns Policy.
Strict Exemptions (Non-Returnable Items): In accordance with UK consumer protection laws, the right to cancel or return an item does not apply to the following:
Bespoke & Customised Commissions: Any commissioned jewellery, jewellery made to a customer's unique specification, engraved items, or pieces handcrafted/altered to specific custom sizes cannot be refunded or exchanged.
Governing Law: These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Scottish law. Any disputes arising in connection with our contracts will be handled exclusively within the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
6. Resolving Concerns
Our priority is to ensure your experience is unforgettable. If you ever have a complaint or concern about a service or piece of jewellery, we aim to resolve it efficiently, fairly, and professionally directly through our in-house customer care team.
