What Does Customisation Mean to Us?
When other jewellers say "customise," they rarely mean to the extent that we do. To us, customisation is about discovering our signature collections, acknowledging what they light up inside you, and making that vision come to life.
It allows you to modify an existing design you love to make it completely your own. This differs from our fully bespoke commission service, where you start entirely from scratch with an idea and we build a new piece around it. Customisation gives you the best of both worlds: a proven, beautiful foundation infused with your personal narrative.
The Constellation & Pawprint Ring
See how a customer transformed our signature "Under the Stars" design into a deeply personal heirloom. Loving the celestial theme but wanting to honour her companion animals, we helped her map a playful trail of sandblasted pawprints winding seamlessly around a high-polish gold band, nestled beautifully alongside the Canis constellations.

Customisation frequently asked questions
How do I start the customisation process?
You can begin by exploring our signature collections and jewellery archive and once you have found the piece you want to personalise, message us directly on our website, WhatsApp our Ayr studio on 07749890107, or book a dedicated design visit. Tell us which collection piece you love and how you would like to change it.
Will I get to see what the custom design looks like before it is made?
The true beauty of customising an existing collection piece is that you can see, touch, and physically hold the original design in our studio or from the comfort of your home, before making any changes. This gives you the absolute best of both worlds. You experience the exact weight, scale, and comfort of the piece first, allowing you to confidently decide which details to alter—whether that means changing a gemstone, adjusting the proportions, or adding unique engraving.
How long does a customised jewellery piece take to complete?
Because each modification is unique, timelines vary depending on complexity. Typically, adjustments take between 4 to 6 weeks - some may be quicker. We will provide an exact timeline during your consultation.
Can I use my own inherited gold or gemstones for customisation?
We are delighted to breathe new life into your family history by incorporating your inherited diamonds and precious gemstones into our collection designs. However, we do not melt down or reuse a customer's old gold.
To guarantee the exceptional long-term quality of our jewellery, we craft exclusively with our own trusted, newly refined alloys. Melting together gold of different ages and origins introduces structural impurities that can cause manufacturing faults. When we unset your heirloom gemstones, we return all of your original gold directly to you. Many of our clients choose to sell this scrap metal to a reputable bullion dealer or broker, using the payout to beautifully offset or fully cover the cost of their new customisation.
