Recently, a wonderful customer visited our Ayr studio with a beautiful vision. She wanted to celebrate her two daughters by customising one of our signature concepts into a spectacular, one-of-a-kind two-carat lab diamond statement ring.
The Inspiration: Customising a Signature Design
The journey began when our client saw a previous bespoke commission from the studio—our vibrant peridot and yellow gold asymmetric wave ring. Falling in love with the fluid, organic silhouette, she envisioned her own unique adaptation of the design.

Because all of our signature styles are designed for conscious, bespoke flexibility, we were thrilled to adapt this flowing form into a completely different aesthetic. It serves as a beautiful example of how a single design concept can be reinvented to perfectly reflect an entirely new personal story.
The Design: A Platinum "Moi et Toi" Representation of Family
To represent her two daughters, the client selected a classic Moi et Toi (Me and You) layout, utilizing two magnificent lab diamonds of equal weight.
Two perfectly balanced one-carat pear cut diamonds nestled into a custom, fluid platinum wave band.
Expertly handcrafted in the UK, this contemporary right-hand ring features:
- The Metal: Crisp, luxurious hallmarked platinum that accentuates the icy brilliance of the gemstones.
- The Gemstones: Two perfectly matched, hand-selected one-carat pear cut lab diamonds, bringing the total weight of the ring to an impressive two carats.
- The Silhouette: A bespoke platinum wave band that snakes elegantly around the finger, cradling a diamond on either side of the fluid channel.
The Craftsmanship: Capturing the Coveted Rainbow Flash
When working with large, premium pear-cut lab diamonds, the precision of the setting dictates how the stones interact with light. Our main objective was to elevate the diamonds proud of the band, allowing ambient light to flood the facets from every angle.

From Our Ayr Studio to its New Home
This magnificent piece was collected just yesterday from our Ayr studio. While we are missing its spectacular sparkle already, we are incredibly honoured to have brought this sentimental commission to life.
