Hero Black Ring Set With A Diamond

This black ring would make a stunning and unusual diamond wedding ring or dress ring for a man or woman.

Being a Hero means standing up for what is right, often against powerful opponents. Hero represents the courage and determination of those who sacrifice their own comforts to fight for the good of others.
The pieces in this collection are all different. There is no way to make two identical. Rather than try to disguise the history of their experiences, these pieces proudly display the beauty of what they have been transformed into.

The ring has been heated until the surface of the metal melts. Then it cools in unique patterns and colours. The ring is then hammered scratched and scored with lots of different jewellery making tools. Two cuts are made diagonally at the front of the design to make it look as if the metal is ripping and breaking. 

There is a single diamond set in the ring to symbolise strength of spirit and there is a hole with no stone. The hole has a Celtic symbolism. The Celts liked to carry stones with holes in them and considered them lucky. They also built tombs for warriors with a hole in them so that their spirit was free to roam the earth after they passed. The hole in this ring design is to bring the wearer luck and freedom. 

This design has been customised by customers in many different ways. Some people prefer it without the hole, some people add more gemstones, including birthstones, some people add engraving too.
