Spanish jewellery designer Jorge Revilla is known for taking travel as his inspiration but just as important as the adventure is to keep in touch with your roots. Roots is a striking jewellery collection, handmade in Spain, in sterling silver with gold plated details. The criss cross patterns are dynamic and elegant and we think this jewellery collection is the  equivalent of a stilletto heel. They require extra care when worn due to the raised thorn like details and are definitely a dress piece of jewellery rather than something to wear every day. 

The Roots drop earrings are such a glamorous piece. Measuring 55mm long. these earrings hang sensuously, carressing the neck. They have post and butterfly fittings. The earrings are a mirror pair of each other. 

The gold plated details are matt finished and the parts left silver are highly polished. It is absolutely stunning in real life. 

As with all gold plated jewellery, it is essential to be extra careful and avoid scratching pieces or getting them wet with perfume, anything acidic, swimming pools or santiser to keep them looking their best.
