These unique black earrings are from Christine Sadler's Hero collection. They are set with round brilliant cut diamonds. 

Every piece in the Hero collection is unique because the way it is created makes it impossible for two pieces to be identical. The sterling silver is heated until the surface of the metal becomes molton and then it cools in unique patterns. The metal turns black because silver oxidises when it is heated. 

The earrings have two cuts, one on each side that make them look like they have been put under extreme pressure. The concept behind the Hero collection is to love the beauty that the difficult times in your life have left on your soul. Rather than try to disguise the effects of the intense challenges the silver has been exposed to, Christine wants you to look at silver in a new way and find beauty in the individuality of its life story.

Each earring is handset with a round brilliant cut diamond that symbolises the strength of character needed to be vulnerable enough to share your truth. 

The oxidisation on these pieces is a surface finish and on any item from this collection, especially the rings, the colour will change to reveal the white silver colour below. People love this about this collection and have viewed the colour change as a healing process that comes through the passing of time.

UK shipping is free for all orders and includes free luxury gift wrapping and box and gift bag.

We can arrange for your order to arrive on a day that suits you best. It will be delivered before 1pm on the day of your choice. That can include delivery on a Saturday if that suits you best.

If your payment has passed 3D secure authentication, we can also deliver it to an alternative address with a message for the recipient.

All of our jewellery with the exception of earrings and commissioned items can be returned for a full refund within 14 days or items purchased for Christmas gifts in November or December can be returned up until the 10th of January.
