This is a one of a kind lemon quartz and lemon cultured pearl necklace. The cultured pearls have an attractive, organic shape and measure 7mm by 5mm. The luster from these pearls looks amazing next to tanned skin. In the center of the necklace there is an asymmetric faceted lemon quartz that measures 23mm long by 17mm tapering to 7mm wide by 10mm deep. The necklace fastens with a sterling silver heart and t bar clasp. The necklace measures 18 inches long, 45cm. 

A cultured pearl is a real pearl that has had a helping hand. Pearls grow when a grain of sand or other foreign object gets inside a mussel or oyster. Cultured pearls have a bead placed inside the mollusc, ensuring each shell harvested has a pearl inside. This technique was first invented by Japanese entreprenuer Mikimoto in 1893. It was such an important invention that in 1985, the Japan Patent Office selected him as one of Ten Japanese Great Inventors.

Cultured pearls differ from synthetic or imitation pearls because they are real. Synthetic pearls are glass beads that have fish scales glued onto the surface. Cultured pearls are exactly the same as natural pearls except the centre of the pearl, the part that starts the process, is initiated by man rather than by accident.

Pearl is the birthstone for June and the gem for the 30th wedding anniversary.

UK shipping is free for orders of any value and free worldwide on orders over £500.

We can arrange for your order to arrive on a day that suits you best. It will be delivered before 1pm on the day of your choice. That can include delivery on a Saturday if that suits you best.

If your payment has passed 3D secure authentication, we can also deliver it to an alternative address with a message for the recipient.
