This is a truly breathtaking natural Alexandrite heart cut ring which changes colour from green to pink. This is an extremely rare gemstone and the colour change is natural. It is due to chromium ions in the gemstone. In daylight, this heart shaped gemstone is teal and under incandescent light turns into a vibrant magneta. 

It is a stone of duality—green or pink, cool or warm, day or night. Because of its rare and attractive color-change phenomenon, alexandrite has been highly sought after and is one of the most valuable gemstones in the trade.

We fell in love with this real Alexandrite on first sight and knew it needed a very special ring design. This ring is inspired by our copyrighted Hearts On Fire design but the setting has been altered on this ring to make it different from the original design. The setting has tiny flames that curve up around the Alexandrite. The claws have been shaped into points that represent the tip of the flames that reach the highest points around the gemstone. The band has a curved pattern with a single brilliant cut diamond set in each flame. This ring is made in platinum.

This is a stunning, completely unique ring, perfect as a very special engagement ring or as a gift to mark a very important moment.
