Frequently asked questions
Is there parking at the studio?
Yes. We have free, private parking right at the front door so you can step directly from your car into the calm of the studio. While we are very close to the town centre, our location avoids the noise, bustle, and parking problems. Many customers team their visit with a walk along the beach, which is located at the bottom of our road.
What times can I book?
Our studio is open for appointments Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm. If these times don’t suit your schedule, please get in touch and we will do our very best to accommodate your preferred time for a private viewing.
Is the studio accessible and inclusive?
Absolutely. The studio is also a quiet, sensory-friendly environment; we have found it is a much more relaxing experience for children with noise sensitivity, neurodivergent individuals, or those who are grieving. We are proud to be an LGBTQ+ inclusive and gender-affirming space. We welcome everyone exactly as they are.
The studio is on the ground floor, though there are two steps at the entrance. For those with mobility needs who are unable to enter the building, we are more than happy to offer a "curbside" service—we have frequently visited customers at their car to measure fingers or discuss designs in person.
How private is my appointment?
Completely private. Because we are an appointment-only studio, there are no other members of the public present. You can discuss your budget, your sentiments, and your designs in total confidence without being overheard.
Can I bring someone with me?
Absolutely. While the studio is private, it is certainly not a "one-on-one" session unless you want it to be. We love it when customers bring friends, family, or partners to share the experience. Having your favourite people there can make the creative process much more relaxed and enjoyable.
What kind of refreshments do you offer?
We want you to feel completely at home. During your visit, we offer a selection of tea and coffee, or something a little more celebratory, including champagne, gin, or wine. We also have chocolates and biscuits on hand to make your creative session even more enjoyable.
Is there a cancellation fee?
No. We understand that life happens. If you need to reschedule or cancel, just let us know as soon as you can so we can offer the time to someone else.

We are still located in the heart of Ayr but we have created a calm and stylish space for you to look at our jewellery designs in person with free parking at the door. When you visit, you will have our full attention. No interruptions, no queuing, no hard sell. Jewellery is a luxury and your experience when shopping for it should be luxurious and fun.

The interior of the Edwardian building that houses our new studio blends modern art with traditional Arts and Crafts, reflecting the same values we embrace in our unique jewellery designs - traditional craftmanship with contemporary meaning. We have extended our opening hours so that you can visit when it suits you best and our customers are finding this new way to shop better than they could have imagined.

You might think the experience starts when you arrive but we start planning days or weeks before you come to ensure that your visit is special.
Like visiting a friend, we arrange a time to meet up. This allows us to prepare everything that is needed to make your shopping experience personal and special. You could call it an appointment but it's more like time reserved just for you. We will ensure we have everything you want to see in person, whether it is a selection of engagement or wedding rings, loose gemstones or even ideas or samples prepared in advance for remodelling or bespoke jewellery commissions. You'll arrive to a welcome where we know your name and are looking forward to helping you with your jewellery needs.

To create this unique shopping experience we have brought together the ease of online shopping with the intimacy of an in-person experience making it easy to shop for jewellery that is unique and special.
How It Works, Why It Is Better.
Our customers browse online when it suits them, seeing close-up images of the designs with all the details of the specifications so they can take their time to compare pieces, narrowing down what they like best without feeling rushed or pressurised. They can message us to ask questions and then reflect on what they think would be best for them. Then they let us know what pieces they would like to see in person at our studio. We will make sure those items are there, alongside any additional things we think they might want to see that aren't on our website yet. When they visit in person, they can try any of the pieces on, request customisations or changes to make the piece perfect and have any item beautifully gift wrapped. At the studio, customers can pay with all major credit cards or in cash. In person, we can measure for a ring to ensure it is perfect and we can also look at any items they need repaired, sized or refinished even if they are not items we have made.
Combining the ability to browse at your leisure with being able to see the item in person before buying it, is the perfect way to get the best of both worlds.
Same Day Collection
We also offer a click and collect service from our Ayr studio, which means customers can order online and arrange a time that suits to swing by and pick it up. Ideal for gifts you need immediately.
Our Virtual Luxury Experience
We have worked hard to ensure customers who aren't local to Ayr can also experience a higher standard of service online than other jewellers offer. We offer a personal service to online customers, who can message us through our online chat service or through WhatsApp. We can send videos of any of the designs to show them in different lights and at different angles and discuss any customisations. Every item comes beautifully gift wrapped with a gift bag and a personal message can be added if desired.
This stunning platinum and diamond wedding ring was made for a customer in England who found our website online. She asked to customise the design so it had blue and white alternating diamonds making her wedding ring unique. Our expertise ensures commissioning a personalised piece of jewellery online from us is easy and fun. Every detail was checked before the ring was made so that not only was it a perfect fit but it was the right colour match and width for her engagement ring.
