This is a platinum ring set with a heart cut moissanite. The moissanite measures 5.5mm.

The platinum ring has a beautiful weight to it and it is handmade in the UK. The ring is solid and there are no corners cut when it comes to quality. Some engagement rings have areas hollowed out on the inside to make the ring lighter but this is very bad for the person wearing the ring. The hollows trap moisture and bacteria and can irritate the finger. This ring is solid and completely smooth inside.

The shoulders of the setting sweep up to hold the stone with two round claws at the top and one V shaped claw at the bottom. The bottom V shaped claw protects the delicate point of the gemstone and the V accentuates the shape of the cut. 

This engagement ring is designed to allow a wedding ring to sit next to it without any shaping or cut outs needed. A shaped wedding ring will cost more to create and will limit the options you can choose when shopping for wedding rings. This engagement ring will sit next to a straight wedding ring, giving your partner much more choice. 

Moissanite has a hardness level of 9.25 which puts it between diamond which is 10 and the next hardest gemstone which is sapphire which is 9 making it an ideal gemstone to be worn every day.

UK shipping is free for orders of any value and free worldwide on orders over £500.

We can arrange for your order to arrive on a day that suits you best. It will be delivered before 1pm on the day of your choice. That can include delivery on a Saturday if that suits you best.
