This is a work of art. The setting for each diamond is cut by hand to create a fan shape that forms claws to hold each diamond. This specific type of setting is done under microscope for precision and it is considered one of the most beautiful styles of settings for small diamonds. It shows the diamonds off but holds them securely. This setting is called fishtail because it fans out in a similar way. The cuts not only create the claws, but they add light and reflection.

This type of setting differs from castle setting because the shapes formed are tiny triangles instead of alternating U and V shaped cuts. It's the small details that create subtle differences and we love both. The main difference is that the fishtail setting is slightly finer and more complex whereas the solid geometric forms of the castle setting are more contemporary.

This ring is made in platinum and set with 15 round brilliant cut diamonds G colour VS clarity. The band is 2mm wide.

This ring design can come set with any number of diamonds in any precious metal. It can also be made with larger diamonds if you want a wider band.

It is a beautiful eternity or diamond set wedding ring.
