Frequently asked questions
Is there parking at the studio?
Yes. We have free, private parking right at the front door so you can step directly from your car into the calm of the studio. While we are very close to the town centre, our location avoids the noise, bustle, and parking problems. Many customers team their visit with a walk along the beach, which is located at the bottom of our road.
What times can I book?
Our studio is open for appointments Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm. If these times don’t suit your schedule, please get in touch and we will do our very best to accommodate your preferred time for a private viewing.
Is the studio accessible and inclusive?
Absolutely. The studio is also a quiet, sensory-friendly environment; we have found it is a much more relaxing experience for children with noise sensitivity, neurodivergent individuals, or those who are grieving. We are proud to be an LGBTQ+ inclusive and gender-affirming space. We welcome everyone exactly as they are.
The studio is on the ground floor, though there are two steps at the entrance. For those with mobility needs who are unable to enter the building, we are more than happy to offer a "curbside" service—we have frequently visited customers at their car to measure fingers or discuss designs in person.
How private is my appointment?
Completely private. Because we are an appointment-only studio, there are no other members of the public present. You can discuss your budget, your sentiments, and your designs in total confidence without being overheard.
Can I bring someone with me?
Absolutely. While the studio is private, it is certainly not a "one-on-one" session unless you want it to be. We love it when customers bring friends, family, or partners to share the experience. Having your favourite people there can make the creative process much more relaxed and enjoyable.
What kind of refreshments do you offer?
We want you to feel completely at home. During your visit, we offer a selection of tea and coffee, or something a little more celebratory, including champagne, gin, or wine. We also have chocolates and biscuits on hand to make your creative session even more enjoyable.
Is there a cancellation fee?
No. We understand that life happens. If you need to reschedule or cancel, just let us know as soon as you can so we can offer the time to someone else.
