Birthstones

Birthstones

Birthstones are a beautiful way to personalise a piece of jewellery. Any of our designs can have a birthstone added or you can commission a piece of unforgettable jewellery with several birthstones of the people you love.

The birthstone for January is garnet. It can come in a reddish brown colour, an orange, pink, or even a vibrant green colour like this stone in this necklace which is from the Heartbeat collection. This necklace was customised with a green garnet as a gift for a new mother to celebrate the birth of her daughter in January.

The birthstone for February is amethyst. This is a customised necklace from the Kiss and Make Up collection. It has been hand engraved with an infinity symbol and set with an amethyst.

The birthstone for March is aquamarine. This is a ring from the Slingshot collection set with a trillion cut aquamarine with diamonds in the shoulders.

The birthstone for April is diamond. You'll find this two stone twist ring design in our engagement ring page but it would make a beautiful gift for a birthday or anniversary.

The birthstone for May is emerald. This is a ring a man commissioned as a gift for his wife's birthday. It is set with emeralds and peridots to symbolise their birth months and with diamonds to symbolise eternity. There is a secret message written between the stones that only makes sense to them.

The birthstone for June is pearl. These are a pair of handmade sterling silver cufflinks with black pearls that were made for a couple's pearl wedding anniversay. Pearls can come in lots of different shades and colours.

The birthstone for July is ruby. This is a pendant from the Cairn collection. It has a 9ct yellow gold section set with a diamond and a sterling silver section set with a ruby.

The birthstone for August is peridot. It's an olive green colour. This ring was a customisation of a ring in the Knot the End collection. It is set with a large peridot and small blue sapphires.

The birthstone for September is sapphire. Sapphires can come in almost every colour imaginable, except for red as a red sapphire is a ruby. They are most well known for being blue. This is an engagement ring and wedding ring set with a pear cut blue sapphire and diamonds in 9ct yellow gold.

The birthstone October is tourmaline. Tourmaline comes in the most stunning shades or red, green and blue. This is an oval cut red tourmaline with diamonds set in white gold.

The birthstone for November is topaz. This is a commissioned ring that is set with blue topazes and diamonds.

The birthstone for December is tanzanite. This is a diamond and tanzanite ring that is in our engagment ring collection.

You can also commission items of jewellery like this necklace that has different birthstones to represent different family members. This necklace was made for a woman and it is set with birthstones in the top loop for her children and birthstones in the bottom loop for her grandchildren.
