A Ring To Celebrate A Graduation

This beautiful pinkie ring was a gift commissioned by a father and his daughter to celebrate her graduation.

They visited our studio in Ayr together. She wanted a Victorian style gold ring for her little finger that was wider at the front and narrower at the back, set with rubies and diamonds. She was able to decide on the exact width of the ring and we were able to make sure the ring was the right size. Measuring a pinkie is crucial as pinkies often don't have much of a knuckle and so need to be very snug to make sure they don't come off too easily. This is important for all rings but especially so for a pinkie.
Once the ring was made and before the stones were set they visited together again to double check that the size was perfect.

She was delighted with the finished ring and her dad was delighted that his daughter has something special that she loves and will keep as a lasting memory of her huge achievement of graduating in Medicine.
