A blue flower was a central symbol of inspiration for the Romanticism movement, and remains an enduring motif in Western art today. It stands for desire, love, and the metaphysical striving for the infinite and unreachable. It symbolizes hope and the beauty of things.

This stunning ring is set with a 0.91ct round brilliant cut blue diamond surrounded by twelve round brilliant cut white diamonds set in platinum. The white diamonds are G colour VS clarity. The total diamond carat weight of this ring is 1.15ct.

This flower design by Christine Sadler represents the heart chakra which is symbolised by a twelve petaled flower. The word for the heart chakra, Anahata means unhurt, unstruck, unbroken. How beautiful to have such a heart!

A 12 petaled flower also symbolises the union of male and female.

Each of the petals has meaning. - bliss, peace, harmony, love, understanding, empathy, clarity, purity, unity, compassion, kindness, forgiveness.

This makes this design particularly special as an engagement or commitment ring.
