This round brilliant cut moissanite silder necklace really sparkles.
A slider pendant is one where the chain goes behind the gemstone rather than hanging from a loop on the top of the pendant. What makes this unique setting special and different is that the design combines a claw setting with the look of a rubbed over setting. The stone is held securely by four claws and is framed by a circle of metal that sits below the widest part of the stone. It appears to float on the chain. The circle that frames the stone conceals the claws and makes the gemstone look even larger.
We have put this pendant on an 18 inch chain but it can be made shorter so that it sits at the clavicle if you prefer. This moissanite which is 6mm in diameter will give you the look of a 0.84ct diamond at a fraction of the cost and with more sparkle. Moissanite is part of the group of super cool lab grown gemstones which are sought after by people looking for an ethical alternative to natural diamonds. Moissanite actually sparkles more than a diamond because light travels through it faster so it is a must for anyone who loves the brilliance of diamonds. We have a fascinating blog in our Jewellery Academy that explains the differences between natural diamonds, lab grown diamonds and moissanites.
All of our designs can come with natural diamonds or lab grown gemstones.
