Who is Christine Sadler?
Born in 1975, Christine Sadler is the daughter of a watchmaker.
She has been involved in retail jewellery since the age of 12
when her father set up his first retail shop. She left school
at 16 and trained in jewellery manufacture and design. She then
worked for a variety of independent and multiple jewellers in
Scotland where she came to realise that almost all jewellery sold
in the UK is manufactured in the Far East because most jewellers
would rather make a fat profit than a quality product.
Christine Sadler Designer Jewellery was set up in 1999 as a reaction
against this philosophy. Christine wanted to prove that it was
possible for a business to produce good quality, well designed
jewellery made in Scotland and still be profitable.
Why is Christine Sadler Scotland's leading contemporary jeweller?
Christine Sadler is the only jeweller who aims to raise the standards
of design and manufacture in retail jewellery. Her distinctive
and recognisable designs come with a lifetime guarantee against
manufacturing faults and an unrivalled aftercare service. Christine
Sadler jewellery will always be made in Scotland.
