For some people, the design is all that matters - if they like
the look of it, they will buy it. Others like to know a bit more
about the product. This section has been created to give a brief
introduction into the materials we use and the manufacturing process.
The Metals
The designs we make are always produced in either silver, gold
or platinum. The alloys we use of these metals are mixed to maximise
the durability and finish of each piece we make.
The Manufacturing Process
Our designs are made using both modern and traditional methods
depending on which technique best suits the piece. The traditional
methods use metal in sheet or wire fashioned by hand using tools
such as piercing saws, files, mallets and doming tools. The modern
techniques use machines which cut a design directly from a computer
drawing. In both cases, all items are polished by hand, a process
which takes several hours.
